Everyday before every show, the actors would come down to the dressing area in bathrobes and they'd do their warm-ups, physical and vocal. The vocal warm-ups aren't pretty, and it's loud and they did them right next to you. Everyone would be limbering up and you'd feel like you stepped into a contortionalist booth at the circus. They must have been born double jointed that's all I can say.
